Sam Miller is a corporate and commercial transactional attorney, and is a member of Dykema Gossett PLLC's corporate finance team, based in its Los Angeles office. Sam is licensed to practice law, and has practiced in California, England and in South Africa.

Innovation and creativity are at the core of Sam's practice and view of the legal profession, and he has for some time now been involved in projects which seek to use technology to change the way in which legal services are delivered and purchased. Sam is the founder of the pioneering online legal advice platforms, VirtualLawDirect, and SvPerbar which use technology to make lawyers, legal advice and pricing more accessible, transparent and efficient, with an emphasis on standardizing legal advice and providing access to flat-fee legal products.

Before returning to private practice, Sam established and led the legal department of Kloeckner Metals Corporation, the third largest metals service center in North America, comprising Namasco Corporation, Macsteel Service Centers USA and other subsidiaries, and prior to that he was an M&A solicitor in the leading City of London firm Berwin Leighton Paisner LLP.

Sam's practice focuses on international corporate and commercial work and he has advised on deals for clients in a range of countries over the last seventeen years, including England, Spain, France, Turkey, Lithuania, Latvia, United Arab Emirates, Israel, South Africa, Hong Kong, South Korea and the United States, with core industry involvement in the metals, technology, cosmetics and automotive sectors.
